So, I haven't been the most active blogger lately, but the Ana Free interview is finally done! I first wanna say thank you for the questions, and thank you Ana, for doing this!
Iv'e been a bit slow on getting it done, but iv'e been really busy and right now i'm sick, so i had the time to actually do something about it!
Thank you Ana for being an inspiration to a lot of people and just for being amazing! <3
1. What was the best gift you've ever got from a fan?
I get fan gifts all the time and every single one is special in its own way. Among my favourites are teddy bears and other little trinkets like bracelets and necklaces. I keep them because each fan is unique and I feel like those gestures give me luck!

2. Where is your biggest dream to be able to play?
I'd love to play in Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, the Gibson Amphitheatre etc. There are so many iconic and amazing places to play - a lot of choice!

The album is such a mix already, and I only have half of it! A lot of the songs were written when I was a teenager and I had a different way of expressing things I was going through. It's interesting to grow up musically. I think the record will reflect that...

4. What is the concert that impressed you most?
I have the fondest memories of playing at Barfly in London. The energy was crazy, the fans are just spectacular when they let go and be who they are around me and the music. I'm extremely lucky. I'll also never forget my first sold-out show in Lisbon. They wanted to push back the time that I was due to begin the show, and I remember saying, "Hey, get me out there or else I'll pass out right here on the floor"! I also loved opening for James Morrison - he's just a fantastic artist.

5. What is the craziest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Ha, hard question. Perhaps fly around the world just to watch a concert of mine. My fans do so many unbelievable things to come and watch me play and I simply love giving them a massive hug. I really have the best people around me, supporting me. There was a fan once who made me a leather-bound writing book and kitted it out with a calligraphy pen and ink. He sent the whole package together, it's very beautiful and I treasure it a lot.
6. Do you listen to the same type of music that you make?
No - only on occasion. I don't try and write a particular style. I'm not glued to one sound, I enjoy exploring genres and growing up. Inevitably my writing style grows along with me. I listen to a lot of foreign music, Greek music helped me learn the Greek for example. I listen to a lot of different types of pop music, acoustic when I want to just relax and chillout.

7. Who is your biggest idol?
I don't think idolising people is a good thing simply because when you idolise people you aim to emulate them and no-one is perfect. I don't think it's a good thing to try and emulate anyone else because you'll only be taking on their persona and imperfections. I prefer to admire others, and there are a lot of people on my list. I love Cheryl Cole, I think she's a powerful and beautiful woman who has strong values. I'm very inspired by Shakira and John Mayer. Artists who are not afraid to break barriers and do as they feel they should. I am ultimately motivated by the support of my family and best friends.
8. What inspires you to write songs?
Various things. It's sort of like the weather. One moment one thing will be happening and before I know it, I'll be writing lyrics down the road or in my room. Since my life has become more hectic, I find myself being forced to write out of my comfort zone, on aeroplanes and on tour which I'm not used to at all. I've gotten better at it. I'm inspired by stories, people, feelings, beats and ideas. That's all the dynamic I need.

9. What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?
I'm a complete extrovert so it's easy for me to get myself into funny trouble. All my life I've been pushing the limits with my sanity and where I let it take me. I usually do hilarious things for laughs with my friends or family. Once or twice it's gotten me in trouble. Recently though, I decided to give it a go on one of those 'put-a-coin-in' mechanical cars and trucks that kids sit in at shopping centres for 2 or 3 minutes. My best friends let me do it (of course!) and then it began to shift and play the loudest music ever. Once in a while strangers would come into the centre and my friends decided to hide away so that they wouldn't be seen hanging around with the weird full grown girl on the toy car. Well, it was a memory made for sure. You win some, you lose some!
